Coney Island
Paul Musaracchia has always had a love for all things Brooklyn. But he is especially fond of Coney Island. “You can travel anywhere in the world, and if you mention Coney Island, the people will know where you mean”, he often says.
Because of this love, and the recent discussions involvement the re-development of the iconic Coney Island beachfront, Paul wished to capture the spirit and flavor of one of his most favorite Brooklyn locations in sculpture. The work displayed here is the result of that labor of love, taking the course of several months of effort in order to produce the work shown.
Paul‘s Coney Island vision was recently showcased in a special display during the Fall 2010 bi-annual Washington Square Outdoor Art exhibit, where his work brought smiles to many.
